What is a Kilt towel?

A Kilt towel is a great quality beach towel that is designed to look like a traditional Scottish Kilt. 

How do I use or wear a Kilt towel?

You use a Kilt towel to dry yourself and you can also tie it around your waist so it looks like a Kilt. Our Kilt towels don't come with Velcro or elastic closures as the towel is big enough to tie without them.

Do you make clan specific tartan towels?

There are 7,000 tartans on record. If we made 20 of the most popular Clan tartan towels that would make the clans left out very angry indeed! We have designed tartans that are bright and colourful but not clan specific.

Do other companies make Kilt towels?

Yes. There are other Kilt towels available some of which call themselves Instakilt. Instakilt is a great idea and it's normal for great ideas to be copied. This fact used to drive us nuts, but we are older and wiser now :). The other Kilt towels available tend to be thin, poor quality towels that are a cotton / polyester mix. Completely different to the great quality, highly functional Kilt towel sold on this website.

What sizes are available?

Our Kilt towels come in one size (60" x 30") and comfortably fit a wide range of waist sizes.

Why do you only sell two products?

Our product catalogue has 22 different unique Kilt towel products and we look forward to making more of these available on the instakilt.com site.
